True Love

When true love crosses your path, how can you not see it as clear as day? It starts out with just a simple "Hey," and ends with what you make of it. True love can not be bought, it is not achieved, it is not won. It is patience, it is commitment, it is trust, and it is love. The strength to carry on a true love relationship is tough, but that's what makes it so great. You find out you can go way beyond what you thought you could do...all for love <3. How great that is! Whether you look your lover in the eyes for the first time, or it is over a simple text, you know. You know when it is true by the way your heart feels, how you act toward them, how you never break your promises. True love is not a race to see who can "win" each other's hearts, but it is a steady walk through each other's life to search for the bond that will never be broken, the love never shaken, feelings never faked. True love is a respect for one another. Not only must you respect each other, but others who are intact with your lover's life. You compliment each other for the better or worse, because there will be bad times. Although no love is perfect, only true love is forever. You know...and you will know. When the time comes, don't shy away. Take the chance, enjoy the dance, and never miss the opportunity. One day, you will come to and say, "I love you."
